Why It’s Curated: This 1997 BMW M3 is for sale in Palos Verdes, California. Years ago, a colleague had an overseas assignment and left his e36 M3 at my house. He asked me to drive it every couple weeks and it was a revelation. I’ve never been in any other car that was so easy to oversteer and control. Want some yaw on the way into a corner, just apply a little brake, want some yaw at the exit, apply a little throttle. If you have too much yaw, just ease off what ever pedal you’re on. Might be the most fun I’ve had in a car at sane speeds. This one is exactly how we’d like them, 4 doors and 5 speeds (this example was a factory auto that was swapped to a manual). Plus the color looks great. There been some recent upgrades, see details below and the image of the clean Carfax. Is there a better car for the money?
