The Classic Chevrolet & GMC Marketplace
General Motors built the trucks that defined American four-wheel drive. Curated OVR LND brings together hand-selected Chevrolet and GMC trucks and SUVs from across the country, from first-generation K5 Blazers and Action Line K10s to square-body Jimmys, Suburbans and GMT400 Z71s, alongside a select group of classic Chevrolet road cars.
Classic GM Models in Our Marketplace
- K5 Blazer & GMC Jimmy (1969–1991): The original full-size sport utility. First-generation trucks (1969–1972) are the most collectible; second-generation square-body examples (1973–1991) are the value entry point. The full-size GMC Jimmy (from 1970) is the K5's badge-engineered twin.
- C/K Pickups — C10, K10, K20: "C" denotes two-wheel drive and "K" four-wheel drive; 10, 20 and 30 mark half-, three-quarter- and one-ton ratings. We see everything from Action Line trucks (1967–1972) in Custom Deluxe and Cheyenne trim to square-body Scottsdales, Silverados and GMC Sierra Classics (1973–1987).
- GMT400 Trucks & SUVs (1988–1999): Z71-equipped pickups, two-door Tahoes and Suburbans. Fuel-injected, comfortable and rapidly becoming modern classics.
- Classic Chevrolet Road Cars: Camaros, Impala SS and Corvettes, from numbers-matching originals to LS-swapped restomods.
What to Look for in a Vintage GM 4x4
- Rust: Cab corners, rocker panels, floor pans and bed floors are the usual trouble spots, along with the rear quarters and tailgate area on K5 Blazers and Jimmys. Ask for underside photos.
- Drivetrain: Engine swaps are common — small-block 350s, GM crate engines and LS conversions. Confirm what is installed, what supporting work was done, and which transfer case the truck carries.
- Trim & Originality: Top trims such as Cheyenne Super, Silverado and Sierra Classic carry a premium. Verify trim with badging, interior appointments and, on later trucks, the SPID label in the glove box.
Classic Chevy & GMC Market Pricing
Values in our marketplace generally fall into these brackets:
- Driver Grade ($15,000 – $40,000): Running, usable trucks with honest wear — many square bodies, Jimmys and GMT400s live here.
- Restored & Refreshed ($40,000 – $85,000): Fresh paint, rebuilt or crate V8s, and updated brakes, steering and suspension.
- Restomod & Collector ($85,000+): Frame-off first-generation K5 Blazers, rare trims, and fully sorted LS-swapped builds.
Classic Chevy & GMC FAQ
What is the difference between a C10 and a K10?
Both are half-ton Chevrolet pickups. The C10 is two-wheel drive; the K10 is four-wheel drive with a transfer case and front drive axle. GMC sold the same trucks as the C1500 and K1500.
Is a GMC Jimmy the same as a Chevy K5 Blazer?
Mechanically, yes. The full-size Jimmy shares the K5 Blazer's chassis, drivetrains and body, with GMC-specific grille, badging and trim levels.
What is a square-body Chevy?
"Square body" refers to the 1973–1987 C/K pickups and the Blazer, Jimmy and Suburban that shared their styling through 1991.
