Body off frame restoration five years prior to my purchase. l bought in Florianopolis, Brazil, in 2016 and drove while posted in Brasilia for 1 year, then imported. Built by Toyota licensed in Brazil, these models (FJ40, FJ43 and truck) were made until early 2000s. Used there primarily as farm vehicles. Factory Mercedes OM364 (also used in numerous models of Mercedes flat bed trucks and maritime diesels) is a bulletproof workhorse. Of note: no factory heat installed, nor block heater, not part of the Brazil "kit". Garage kept since being in U.S., 2017-present.
