Why It’s Curated: This 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cab is for sale in Long Island, New York. The first real car I ever bought was an ’89 944 S2 coupe. I loved the look of the turbo but having owned an ’80s era turbo, I was done with the lag. The S2 was the perfect car and I daily’d it for 3 years and drove it across country once. It was a wonderful car and it never let me down. It had just enough power and torque to be able to get the rear axle to move around under acceleration and was light enough to do the same under braking. Looking at the images of this very low mile example and watching the driving video has made me think about getting another. It’s also had a good bit of recent maintenance, see details below.
