We really Mondials, especially the last version like this, the t, which is named as the the engine is longitudinal (only Mondial like that) and the transmission is transverse, in line with the rear axle, to help move the center of gravity forward. We like t’s for two reasons, the first is the instrument binnacle that looks more like that on a 308 and the second is the sound of the engine. With the right exhaust, this car can sound like a 355, our favorite sounding V8. You can hear one here. This example just had the engine out service, including new timing belt, in January of ’24.
