Why It's Curated:
This 1988 BMW E28 is for sale in Portland, Oregon. We have literally wanted to own an E28 since initially driving one in Detroit circa 1989 that was owned at the time by a GM executive. The feel of the steering wheel that is slightly canted upwards, the position and feel of the shifter, the relative small size especially for the day, its light weight, and its power was something that we hadn't experienced then or possibly since. Add to that the near perfect dash of an 80's BMW and its not something you would forget easily.
This example has had an M52 swap which per the seller brings power up to ~200hp, has a 5 speed manual, and an LSD rear end. Suspension was upgraded to Bilstein struts with lowering coils on BBS wheels. The interior has had the front seats cleaned up and shows well. See additional details below.
