1983 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 with an LS3 swap

Our Take: We have spent a lot of time around high-end restorations and can attest to the time and money it takes to make a great build. The folks at ATV Outlet in Sacramento detailed their process to turn this old FJ60 into a new beast, now carrying 450 horsepower (300+ over stock), along with a 5 speed manual transmission, uprated suspension, brakes, interior, and accessories. 

Details & Upgrades

• Fast LSX Intake Manifold & Injection System
• Dual 2.5" mandrel exhaust dumping into 1 muffler, exiting single mandrel 3” exhaust. 
• New Factory Toyota H55F 5 speed manual Transmission
• Transfer case rebuilt
• New Australian Marks Adapter kit with motor mounts, bell housing and clutch kit.
• 38 gallon gas tank
• Custom Aluminum Radiator by Ron Davis Racing
• Axles stripped, powder coated, front and rear air lockers installed, and 2 compressors installed by Stellar Built in Sacramento. 2nd compressor for tires and more.
• All differential seals, bearings, brakes and more are all factory Toyota and new.
• Sony sound system with navigation, hidden speakers, amps, sub-woofer. 
• Back up camera Installed.
• New lights, lenses
• New headliner, seats, panels and other interior pieces
• Paint and body work by Excellence on Auburn Blvd in Sacramento. Full strip down, all doors, fenders, and body panels came off. Used new Factory TRD Quicksand Tan Color.
• All door hinges, strikers, springs and hardware was rough black powder coated before re-assembly.
• New electric windows and locks added.
• All glass removed and ceramic tinted.
• Custom black powder coated full aluminum bumpers built just for this build.
• Bumpers have full LED lights installed for fog, back up. Also see dash switches.
• 2 New 5 gallon military tanks were added to the rear bumper. All on swing out set ups.
• Black Rhino rims and new tires. A full 5th tire and rim come with vehicle.
• New all aluminum ARB Australian roof rack added.
• All factory gauges work, but a new custom factory look tachometer placed in the center of the dash with new 6k+ redline for LS3 engine.
• Dash with Middle East tilt meter installed. Not offered in USA.
• California vehicle all its life. No Rust. Straight Body.

Not Legal for California Registration nor SMOG due to LS3 Aluminum V8 engine.
