Airstream Interstate 19X - Brief Overview
Motortrend recently reviewed the new Airstream Interstate 19X. Airstream, known for its iconic aluminum travel trailers, has been in the class B camper van market since 2004. Their latest offering, the 2024 Airstream Interstate 19X, is a compact off-grid camper van built on the 144-inch Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 Extended 4x4 platform. Airstream describes its Interstate X vans as "lifestyle support vehicles" suitable for various passions. The 19X boasts a rugged exterior with protective coatings, a brush guard with integrated lights, all-terrain tires, solar panels, and more.
Inside, the Airstream Interstate 19X offers its "Red Rock décor" and features aluminum walls, ceilings, and window trim. It includes a private enclosed bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink, a galley with a solid-surface countertop, sink, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and a stowable induction cooktop. Rear convertible couches double as a spacious bed, and the van comes pre-wired for satellite TV and 5G internet. Ample storage is provided through overhead compartments, under-seating storage, and L-track on the ceiling, floors, and walls. The 19X is equipped with fresh, grey, and black water holding tanks, air conditioning, a diesel-fired water heater, propane-powered generator, lithium batteries, and an inverter. Pricing for the 2024 Airstream Interstate 19X starts at just under $200,000.
Curated.Bid's key question is how will this Airstream compare to the Revel? We'll hope to get in one soon and report back.
