Why It’s Curated: This 1983 Jeep CJ5 Renegade, is for sale near Milwaukee Wisconsin. We are very fond of CJ-5s and CJ-7s. Especially the higher trim packages like this Renegade. Even more so when they come on Wagon Wheels. This example won best in show at the Spring 2023 Southern CJ event. You can see an image of the trophy in the image gallery.  This last year CJ5, 6 cylinder example has a reported 23k miles on the clock and the seller states the odometer has not rolled over. While there is not documented proof, the condition as shown in the image gallery below makes us think the number is real or it’s been restored (it may have been painted). Either way, this looks like one of the best CJs on the market and compared to a similar 1st gen Bronco seems like a better value.  We’d love to turn this into our beach, mountain, or desert run about.
